Going around the office today was one of those "when women say this, they really mean this" list. True as these may be I felt the need to rebuttal the meaning with what men are really saying to the same words. Let me know if you agree.
1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)
(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever').
(8) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying Forget YOU! (9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.
Here are the Men’s rebuttal
1. FINE: Things are good, great looking car or we are talking about sand paper.
2. FIVE MINUTES: It is a barometer of our sexual desires if you get my drift.
3. NOTHING: Statement men usually get when we explain item 2.
4. GO AHEAD: Yellow at intersection or the light has been red to long and since on one is looking GO AHEAD and run the light.
5. LOUD SIGH: Didn’t see the cop at the corner when we ran the stop light.
6. THAT’S OK: Just consumed a double beef whopper with cheese but to offset the calories we order a diet coke. THAT’S OK.
7. THANKS: Proper response to Item 2.
8. WHATEVER: Man’s response to item 5. Usually followed by FINE from women.
9. DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT, I GOT IT. Means man has forgotten something he was suppose to do and is now hoping that this response will delay the LOUD SIGH.
I hope you enjoyed the laugh. God bless.

One Young Lady on Her Way to Salvation

The Ladies invited her to the evening service. She took them up on their invitation and showed up at church. She entered into the worship and the prayer groups. She was hungry for God and found His presence in

We spent many hours preparing for this trip, raised a good amount of money to travel to Spain, left behind family, friends and the comforts of home. We handed out hundreds of tracks, believing we would make a difference. We believed for Holy Spirit appoints with indivduals looking for the answer to their problems. This young girl was an answer to our prayers and I believe we were the answer to hers. But if all we did was help this one person enter God's kingdom the trip was worth it. However, we know we did accomplish more for God but this one young lady sure made it all worth while.
Rom 10:14-15 NASB How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? (15) How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"

For God so loved. . . .

It was a great day for the Kingdom of God.

These pictures gives you the view the team had as they looked out on the crowd that gathered. The longer they played songs and gave testimonies the more people came to watch. When you look at this scene I want you to consider something. First of all this place was a Holy Spirit appointed time and location. Second, people changed the course of their eternal life in this town square. It looks like just a great tourist spot or cool picture to most but in reality it was much more. This place was a fork in the road in the lives of a couple of people that brought them into the Kingdom of God. One day you and I will see these people in heaven.
Thank you for your prayers and support to send us to this place to see people enter eternal life. It is a great feeling, isn't it.
PS: We did have another audience, perched on top of the roofs. They would fly from one building to the next; it was something to see.

When In Need.

I gave a teaching on the link between faith and hope. If you have no hope, then your faith is of little use. If you have hope but no faith, you will be disappointed.
Pro 13:12 NLT Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
The Message bible says it this way, "Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around."
Using Hebrews 11:1 and the story of the women with an issue of blood in Mark 9:20-22, I spoke on bringing FAITH, present tense, together with HOPE, future tense. I spoke about a time when God healed me. I had faith God could heal me but at the time I didn't have hope that He would. It was at this time that God showed me that my faith and hope were not working together. They were not linked up. With the power of scripture to sustain the thing that you are hoping for you can stand in faith knowing that it will come to past. Maybe not in your time frame or the way you want it to happen BUT God is faithful to His word and He will bring future tense HOPE into present tense FAITH.

At this point I asked for those who had given up on the thing they were hoping for to come forward and we were going to pray for them. Everyone came forward. Not surprising since everyone is hoping for something. Healing, finances, relationships, peace, children.
So today, what are you hoping for? Find scripture to stand on for the thing you are hoping for and then go on in faith knowing that God will bring it to past. God bless...
Rom 15:13 NASB Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
